Parlay Voo Anything?

As promised (more so to myself && Tiffany), a recap of Paris. I took a whopping 400 photos, most of which are of food, scenes, art, food, scenes, and mostly just damn pretty things. I don't want to oversimplify the wonder of the French culture, but it was what I had expected: this certain charm, this certain air of high culture, and everyone there knowing they carried this air of high culture.

I hit up most "must-see" places: Eiffel Tower, Tuileries, Louvre, Champs Elysée, Sacré Coeur, Moulin Rouge. There were some other surprises as well: the cafe where Amelie worked, best Falafels in Marais, vintage/antique shopping, taking a cooking class in French, eating delicious pastries and drinking hot chocolate at Angelinas, going up the Eiffel Tower at night, eating lunch at the steps of Sacré Coeur and being attacked by 30 birds, homemade fondue, walking around for hours in Montmarte, finding myself a 1940s blazer...

Basically, feeling really fabulous the entire time. It was the royal treatment of lavish lust.

One thing I did miss: the Pompidou, which was closed because of strike. As much as I love people standing their ground for what they want... I want my modern art, please!

Paris is was filled with lights, and of course, love. The couples in Paris are cuter. Can that be possible? I didn't know watching people share an iPod could be so... romantic. Sure, it might not have been as perfect as Paris, Je'taime, but I blame that on the weather. Now if only I could find a Before Sunset moment, my Parisian experience would be complete.

I had a lovely time in Paris, thanks to Tiffany, who essentially planned out my weekend to the t. We saw and ate so much, it was incredible. Glad I got to catch up with her.
